Unsolved QtCreator: can't leave empty `sysroot` for CLang compiler
-
Hi,
I'm trying to build app for desktop using CLang.
I can see tooltip that tells me that I need to leave empty sysroot if I build for desktop but whenever I remove everything from this line and open
kits
again I can see that it is still set toC:\Qt\Tools\mingw810_64
.I ve tried to remove build dir, delete
.user
file but nothing helped.Similar problem was described here but it doesn't completely fit my needs

@Please_Help_me_D Why do you want to use Clang with MSVC2019 Qt?!
-
@jsulm just trying. I want to test whether I can compile my app with clang
-
@Please_Help_me_D Since Qt you're using was build with MSVC2019 compiler you can't (you can't mix binaries built with different C++ compilers)...
You would need to build Qt also with same compiler. -
@jsulm I forgot to tell that for now I don't use Qt in my app. Project is based on CMake and there is no any Qt dependancy.
For this app I use Qt creator as editor -
@Please_Help_me_D Try to unset Qt version in that Kit
-
@jsulm didn't help
By the way, when usingClang-cl
doesn't have such problem:
