Solved "Qt for Android" Download?
-
Hello,
I have installed Qt Creator (v. 4.13.3) and am trying to follow the "Creating a Mobile Application" tutorial (https://doc.qt.io/qtcreator/qtcreator-accelbubble-example.html).An early step says, "To develop for Android devices, you must install Qt for Android and set up the development environment..."
So my question is, where can I download "Qt for Android"? I cannot seem to find it anywhere although it is referenced in many places.
Thank in advance for help!

Hi, and welcome!

Use the Qt Online Installer: https://www.qt.io/download
- Click the button under "Try Qt" to get an evaluation under the commercial license.
- Click the button under "Downloads for open source users" to use Qt under open source licenses.
The online installer lets you install Qt Creator and various versions of the Qt libraries (including Qt for Android)
(Qt and Qt Creator are same no matter which license you use. The commercial license provides more tools and official support that are not available under the open source licenses.)

@JKSH Using the Qt Online Installer did indeed allow me to install "Qt for Android". (I had tried to use the offline installer for "Qt Creator" previously). Thank you for your help!
