Understand how shaders work in QML

For the QML Specialist Exam I need to understand how Shaders work in QML.

I tried to look up information in the docs but I can only find:

Are there any other ressources you think I should consider?

The Qt book has a section on shaders. Not sure if this is what they are asking for though.

The problem is all the curriculum for the exam says is:

Understand how shaders work in QML
No need to manage GL shader language
