License switch question (from commercial to opensource)

Hi,
I have a question regarding the Qt commercial license.
Let's say I bought a commercial license and for many years I renewed it and released my applications under the commercial license.
At some point in time I stop the renewal of the commercial license and I want to release new versions of my applications under the Qt opensource license (these application were released with the Qt commercial license in the past).
Is this possible?
I found that the switch from opensource to commercial is not possible without written permission by Qt but I didn't find any information about the opposite (from commercial to opensource).Thanks in advance
