    Hello all.

Does anyone know about Qt Script in Qt 6.0 and further? Will it be actively developing by Qt Company? Is there any plans to deprecate it or even drop it out? Is it OK to include it into long term project?

    Suggestions?

      Hi,

This is a question you should bring to the interest mailing list. You'll find there Qt's developers/maintainers. This forum is more user oriented.

@JulienMaille based on the module documentation and the fact that it has been already beed deprecated during the Qt 5 lifetime in favor of QJSEngine, I would say it's highly unlikely to be ported to Qt 6.

Yup it's definitely dead. I was more curious if the OP found a way to use QJSEngine instead. Last time I checked (years ago) this wasn't a full replacement for QtScript, with no solution to expose existing c++ object to the scripts
