Solved qt.qpa.plugin error on Qt 5.14.2 Linux
-
Hi people,
I just installed a new Qt on my Linux (Ubuntu) machine using the online installer and tested it by running a few Qt Desktop projects. For them I get this error:
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.Available platform plugins are: eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vnc, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-egl, wayland-xcomposite-glx, xcb.
The program has unexpectedly finished.
Apparently I need to initialize a Qt platform plugin. Yes, please? If so, how?

Hi
I have seen that in regards to upgrading linux ubuntu.
xcb miss some dependencies.
It sounds like the same.
Let me search for it.
update:
try
sudo apt-get install libxcb-xinerama0 -
