Qt online installer failed on Xubuntu 20.04

    I am trying to install Qt latest release using Qt online installer in freshly installed Xubuntu 20.04 . In middle of installation, the installer is crashing . Here is the terminal log :

      Recently I tried again using offline installer , still facing same problem .

        Hi,

        Could you run the installer with "--verbose" option and attach at least a couple of bottom rows from output here? I'm interested if this could be related to a bug tracked in here.

        It might be worthwhile to also check if this problem persists without Qt Creator selected for installation. You can try this by using "--no-force-installations" option and then uncheck Qt Creator component under "Developer and Designer Tools" node from installer's component selection page. Note that this option should only be used for testing purposes and not on real installations as it might cause other problems.

            At least the output seems to to match the one in the bug report. Me and my colleagues have been trying to reproduce this issue for some time now on multiple systems with no luck. In your case does this occur on an AMD based system, more specifically one with a Ryzen 3000 series processor?

              I am using an old intel cpu Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 . Till xubuntu 19.10 the installer working perfectly , problem starts when I install xubuntu 20.04
