I've downloaded official release source code for 5.14.2. I am running on ubuntu 18.04.4. How can I compile and link with the g++ '-g' debug flag? Is it a "configure" option? (I don't see the debug option mentioned in the configure documentation)

Run "configure" with the "-debug" flag, according to "configure --help"
