Data property in QDeclarativeItem. what is it?

Can some one please explain to me what is the data property in QDeclarativeItem
and if it possible how can i change it to have a different content
anf if i change the content is it change in the view automatically

Hello. The data method is used to retrieve data that you have yourself set beforehand with setData.
