repc missing from bitbaked toolchain. does any one know what the fix is? I have seen a similar question for automotive linux, but the fix does not seem to translate to my environment.

@jpawlyk How is your question related to Qt?

repc is some sort of Qt compiler for QtRemoteObjects, if I understand correctly. One of the outputs of the bitbake process is a embedded toolchain that includes Qt tools like qmake. We were able to figure out how to add the remote object plugins but we are not getting an repc executable.

I see this patch related to an automotive sdk, but it does not apply to my environment:

@jpawlyk OK. Well, I don't know, maybe somebody else has an answer.

            Hi,

I might be wrong but I think that the option(host_build) at the top of repc.pro might be responsible for that.
