Qt Mac OS X and OpenGL showing garbage display
-
Hi,
I'm trying to compile and run on my 10.7 Mac a Qt app someone else created on Linux. I've tried a number of options for installing Qt (binaries, source) and compiled Qt with and without frameworks. I tried to compile it to use X11 instead of Cocoa, but that didn't see to work. The application grabs an image from a firewire camera and displays it in a Qt window with OpenGL rendering. Here's an example of what it looks like:

Any ideas? Anyone encounter something like this before?
Thanks,

Could you please provide the version of OpenGL running on your Mac? Run glxinfo on a command line and provide the "OpenGL version string" entry.
Make sure the the application is coded against a compatible version of OpenGL and that any extension it uses is actually available on your Mac. If the context is not properly initialized due to incompatible version issues you might get this dirty image buffer displayed on your screen. -
Thanks for the reply! The version string:
OpenGL version string: 2.1 ATI-7.12.9
I'll check on extensions used.
Thanks,

I should add, the Qt example codes all seem to work fine.
