Hi,
If ts-calibrate does not recognize it as touch screen, it's possible that your device is seen as a mouse.

Hi,

Thank you for replying @SGaist ,
How to check if my device is seen as mouse?
Coz in ts_calibrate I tried to click points using mouse but none of them get clicked...then how to change to recognise as touch only?
Any suggestions? -
That's something you should first check with the screen model you are using.
-
Not getting your point @SGaist
I am using goodix gt911 touchpad driver which recognises my touch on evetest -
My point is: at no point did you mention what device you were using nor how it was supposed to be recognized by your system as a touch screen.
You just added now that it was recognized by evdev.
What if you disable evdev ?
By the way, are you locked to that old version of Qt ?
It has reached end of life a long time ago and you are not even using the latest of the Qt 4 series. -
Ohh sorry, I am using friendlyarm arm linux based device
And that os using qt 4 only that's why we are stuck at qt version 4And event are occurring on evdev as well as on cat I put device for touch meaning at kernel level it is working fine
But at user level it not recognise at all in qt app and in ts_calibrate -
Is anyone there who can guide me on this?
-
Did you try to use it like a mouse ?

What are you using to manage the input ?

There's the invert module explained in tslib's readme.
