Qt MaintenanceTool & Online Installer Network error : Socket operation timed out

I have qt 5.13.0. So I wanted to update to 5.14.1. However, Qt MaintenanceTool didn't let me this. I tried QtSdkRepoChooser, but it wouldn't work. This is the annoying error.
Network error while downloading 'http://mirrors-wan.geekpie.club/qtproject/online/qtsdkrepository/mac_x64/desktop/tools_ninja/qt.tools.ninja/1.9.0-202001281252meta.7z': Socket operation timed out.
Progress bar stops on 98%, or maybe 97%...
Online installer will not work too.

Qt Company seems to be having some server problems. Try again in a few hours/ days.

@sierdzio I have same issue and it's been more than couple of weeks. Still it doesn't work.

Yeah but in recent days it's got even worse :-)
Anyway, there is a solution - switch to Linux, there the maintenance tool works fine. But it's not a solution that will fit everybody.
If any of you are commercial users - use your special powers to kick some butts so this gets fixed. If you aren't - well, either wait or build manually from source :-/
