Re: Qt3D: loading a .mtl file into a QMaterial component?

I too am seeking information on this same subject. A Google search turns up multiple times that developers have asked this question over the course of 9 years, and NONE of them have solution answers. Many of them have ZERO replies, like this one did. Could somebody, anybody, please address this issue. This is pretty standard stuff for a 3D engine. I find it hard to believe that this is not possible, but, if it is not, then kindly simply say so, so that we can all move on to finding another way to texture our 3D objects. Many thanks!

        Hi,

Qt3D is a relatively new module for the Qt timeframe and one that might not be as widely used as other by the forum members. Remember, the forum is run by volunteer. If such a question doesn't get an answer then please bring it to the interest mailing list. You'll find there Qt3D developers/maintainers.
