Hello guys,
I'm really new to QT and was ask to rebuild a very old project in order to develop new functionnalities. I'm hurting this error while compiling for a few days now and cannot find any solution. Maybe some of you have an idea ? I'm pretty sure that's a begginer mistake, but I cannot found it...
I'm using :
- QT Creator 4.11.0
- Qt 5.12.6 MinGW 64-bit
- my compiler is a MinGW 7.3.0 64-bit (for C++)
- I'm using windows10

@Ozuu Your Qt installation does not have script module, see https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtscript-module.html
This module is old and not developed anymore. Can be that it is not part of current Qt releases anymore. -
hi @Ozuu
your project needs the QtScript module make sure you have it installed -
Thank you for your answer ! That was fast. But I need to ask a few things in order to understand this better.
The old module your talking about @jsulm is the Qt 5.12.6 ? or the Qt creator version ?
@LeLev You do I install QtScript ? Do I need to re-install the all Qt with the online installer ? and at this point choose to install QtScript like a complementary module ? -
@Ozuu said in Error 3 followed mingw32-make.exe exit with Error 2:
is the Qt 5.12.6 ? or the Qt creator version ?
It has nothing to do with QtCreator. QtCreator is just an IDE.
Qt is the framework.
If you installed Qt using Online Installer then start Maintenance Tool, go to your Qt version and check "Qt Script (Deprecated)" and install. -
Thank you very much, I'll try that and come back to tell if this worked !

It was that ! Thank you, you really made my day !
