Establish HTTPS connection with certificate authentication

I need to establish a HTTPS connection to a server to get a configuration file. The server requires a certificate based authentication. I use a QNetworkAccessManager. How should I get the information that a certificate is requested by the server ?
So how to get aware that SSL handshake send "CertificateRequest" during the Server Hello message? and how to get the list of CA the server support?
