Unsolved Questions about official procedure for cross-compilation for RPi
-
I found this "modern guide" for cross-compiling Qt for Rasbian.
Few questions:- anyone tested this for RPi4?
- the guide suggest to use a real RPi... I would prefer to do this using the Raspbian image mounted with
losetup
andsystemd-nspawn
to execute commands. Any drawback here? - instead, if I follow the exact procedure, how to replicate the environment on other sd-card? I mean, I don't want to clone them! Usually I make a custom img file that contains the final rootfs. It would be enough to sync the
/usr/local
folder?

Yes, many people. It does not work due to changes in GPU drivers in PRi4.

I don't know.

It depends where you install Qt to (what prefix dir you choose).
