In several places I read that <code>qtdeclarative</code> is mandatory even when you're not going to build <code>qtquick</code> or any <code>qml</code>-related module.</p>
<p dir="auto">Is this true? Or can I safely avoid it?</p>

<p dir="auto">No, it's not mandatory if not using any feature it provides.</p>
<p dir="auto">This will simply disable building the related parts of other modules.</p>
