<![CDATA[Is really qtdeclarative mandatory?]]>I'm cutting down my Qt5 build. In several places I read that qtdeclarative is mandatory even when you're not going to build qtquick or any qml-related module.

Is this true? Or can I safely avoid it?

No, it's not mandatory if not using any feature it provides.

This will simply disable building the related parts of other modules.
