QSystemTrayIcon and shortcuts on OSX
-
Hi,
I implemented a QSystemTrayIcon for my app, parent of a QMenu.
The QMenu contains a few actions that have keyboard shortcuts, and here is the issue: the shortcuts are not properly displayed on OSX, they are cut to just one character instead of the whole shortcut ("W" instead of "⌘W", for instance).I've tried attaching the menu to my app's main window, and eveything is fine there, so the issue seems specific to QSystemTrayIcon.
I've also tried playing with styles, proxies and stylesheets (of course, starting with no style or stylesheet control over QMenu), but no can do, my shortcuts can't be properly displayed in this specific case.
To me, this looks like a proper Qt bug, but I should ask first: did anyone here encounter this issue or know a workaround?
Thanks!

You might want to open a bug report at the "public bugtracker":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com. That's the right place to report issues in general, the Qt developers track that. Please make sure to report back the issue ID here.

Thanks Volker, I just did ("here":https://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-22332, for those interested).
I just thought I'd ask here before reporting, in case there was a simple solution.
Thanks anyway

Thanks. Asking here beforehand is never a bad idea. Chances are good that someone has a solution or knows the ID of an already opened issue.
