Unsolved cache QImage on grapics card for fast blitting?
On the mac, i can cache a bitmap on the graphics card by converting it to a CGLayerRef, then blitting that into my CGContext instead of directly from my bitmap. This makes the blit much faster.
Is there an equivalent for QImage / QPainter?
looking for a solution that works on windows too.
note i'm drawing into a QGraphicsView for all this. Would it be better to instead draw into a QOpenGLWidget ?
