Qt Quick 3D: QDeclarativeView, working! QDeclarativeView3D... Not so much.
-
I have a Symbian^3 app written in Qt which has a certain part of its GUI implemented in QML (through the use of QDeclarativeView). I'd like to use some Qt Quick 3D features, and so changed QDeclaritiveView to QDeclaritiveView3D.
And so
@
// Private member in class "SimScreen"
QDeclarativeView *view;
...
// In "SimScreen" constructor
view = new QDeclarativeView(this);
view->setSource(QUrl("qrc:/qml/hello.qml"));
view->show();
@becomes
@
// Private member in class "SimScreen"
QDeclarativeView3D *view;
...
// In "SimScreen" constructor
view = new QDeclarativeView3D(this);
view->setSource(QUrl("qrc:/qml/hello.qml"));
view->show();
@For some reason the app now bombs out when launching this screen, whereas it worked perfectly with QDeclarativeView. During debugging I get a segmentation error.
@'Exception': A data abort exception has occurred accessing 0x4d.
