I am using a QTreeView to populate a file directory using a QSortFilterProxyModel with the QFileSystemModel as the sourcemodel. How can I hide a particular directory from the treeview?

as youuse QSFPM, you can, sure.
Just overwrite filterAcceptsRow and check for the path.
