I recently decided to reorganize my local Qt projects. I created a QtLocalProjects directory in my home folder (Ubuntu 18.04) and created a new project (untitled) I then selected this new directory for that project's location. Now, under projects, in the IDE there is a small purple icon on the folder and a new file called untitled.qbs:3. What is this file for, what does it do?

@Circuits that is the projects file for the QBS build system. Other systems are Qmake or CMake.

From your question, I assume you don't wanne use Qbs?
