What went wrong with the program that left the whole system unresponsive

I want to know what happens to the software that causes the entire Windows system to go unresponsive and I have to force a shutdown to handle it.
@Flame Is that software written using Qt?
You can check Windows logs using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Management_Console , often you can find something there.
