    Hi,

I have a Win7 (64-bit) machine and are trying to install Qt5.9.8 using the offline installer (qt-enterprise-windows-x86-5.9.8.exe). The installation stops and terminates without displaying the Qt5.9.8 Setup window and without any error report.

I already have Qt5.9.2 installed. The offline installer for Qt5.9.2 (qt-enterprise-windows-x86-5.9.2.exe) starts normally and displays the Qt 5.9.2 Setup window when launched.

I noticed when downloading Qt5.9.8 that Qt has given me a new license key. The 5.9.2 installation is using my previous license key.

Any ideas what is causing the problem?

      Hi,
I checked the MD5 sum for the downloaded offline installer. It was corrupt. Downloaded new file and it installed without problems. Problem solved.

        Hi,

One thing you can do is starting the installer from the command line, you might see some more information about what is going wrong.
