How to Solve the Problem?
-
I would suggest to go to the official online installer through https://www.qt.io/download
For the open source version you have to choose at the right side the download. The online installer will install the latest Qt creator version. It provides also a choice of Qt lib versions.
As recommended by @jsulm it is recommended to use the latest Qt version. However, eventually you may have to select a different version depending on the compiler you intend to use.
[edit, koahnig] when you still see with the latest Qt creator version errors as reported above, please come back.
