QDataStream seems not flushing after QFile seek

Hello,
I am reading a file using a QDataStream on a QFile. Everything seems fine the first time, but when I try to get back to a certain position using seek, it does it except the fact that I am reading back the same data. It seems that the QDataStream was not flushed and the data are still there.
I see that there is no Flush function on a QDataStream, so I am wondering how I can do it, and of course if my problem comes from it ?Best
