EDIT Yay! Told Firefox to clear the (just 2) cookies it has for forum.qt.io, and now I am back to old interface! I wonder what changed what cookie to make it mobile....
EDIT2 Nightmare time :( That held for a few minutes. Now the new "mobile" interface has returned. I didn't do anything special. And this time I'm not having luck with clearing out all the cookies. WTF? :(:(
EDIT3 Now clearing the cookies is working again. It's possible I had not closed all Firefox windows previously. I'm going to monitor this for a while before deciding whether it's solved or not....
EDIT4 Well, seems to be behaving itself so far today! I'll re-mark this as the solution, and keep my fingers crossed... :)
We investigated this briefly last week and indeed there's a problem with Qt Forum when changing the email address via Qt Account. A new forum account is created when the email address is changed. We still need to figure out, what exactly is causing this and how to fix it.
Also, there's no simple way to merge users, but of course there's the final solution to do it via editing the database directly...

That is a tough one, this is due to your location.
I'll ask marketing automation people to take a look. It should be a simple case of moving you to the general info list from the Japan list.
This is something we haven't looked at.
The settings in this version don't seem to have that option, it sends emails always when there is an answer.
(my guess is that this has been the simplest option to implement)
The info address is an automatic mailbox, I'm not sure where the mails go. I'm guessing the contact section mails go to sales or support, who don't touch the newsletter (however they should know who does).
Careers goes to the people recruiting for the Qt Company, they really don't have control over the newsletters.
In my experience the unsubscribe link works (yes I use it occasionally).
