[SOLVED] Compiling with qmake
-
Hello
I'm developing a small tool something like IDE to learn more about Qt. I have problems on windows... I've been using QSource-Highlight for syntax highlighting, that is a Qt frontend for GNU source-highlight, so I installed "GNU Source-highlight 3.1.4":http://www.gnu.org/software/src-highlite/source-highlight.html. everything is ok on linux. the program works and it looks good :-) But I have problems with windows. I need to compile and link source-highlight on windows machine, and I don't have a linux shell installed.
"Here":http://www.gnu.org/software/src-highlite/source-highlight.html#Building-with-qmake is some description about compiling that library with qmake on windows. But there is no .pro file in source directory and I don't know what to do with qmake and GNU source-highlight... reading "qmake manual ":http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/qmake-manual.html doesn't help.
EDIT: I'm using MinGW

Are you using MinGW or MSVC?
-
I'm using 64-bit MinGW (installed with Qt SDK.)

Make sure you have source-highlight version 3.1.4 (download from "here":ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/src-highlite/). It has the necessary .pro file.

Ooops ! I downloaded version 3.1 (not 3.1.4) because that was last item in the list !
Thank you!

You're welcome. I actually did the same thing when I tried to figure it out for you ;)
