i think you did'nt get my question
when i use setfixedsize function maximize button will get disabled( i think) -
Fixed size is kind of conflicting with maximized for the simple reason that you need to be able to resize to be able to maximize. Best course of action is of course to drop the old fashioned fixed size windows and do everything using the "QLayout":http://doc.trolltech.com/latest/qlayout.html#details system.
Edit: I noticed only just after posting that this is in the Quick thread. I have no experience with it, but still, if you can, don't do fixed size windows. It's like telling your users that you know what they want to look at.

can you give a code do that? -
There's the "Basic Layouts Example":http://doc.trolltech.com/latest/layouts-basiclayouts.html and the "Flow Layout Example":http://doc.trolltech.com/latest/layouts-flowlayout.html.
