How to change "com.yourcompany" bundle identifier in a MAC OS X bundle's info.plist with qmake
-
with "ICON" qmake can place the right icon name in the created MAC OX X bundle within the info.plist. However, I did not find any possibility to replace the bundle identifier string "com.yourcompany" with my company name through qmake. Of cause, I could do this manually at the end. But I'm looking for something automated.

Have a look at this "wiki article":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/OS_X_application_without_menu_bar. Just ignore the menubar stuff and leave out the LSUIElement entry, but change com.yourcompany to the desired value.

Thanks Volker, if I understand the article correctly, then I can provide my own info.plist file to qmake as a template and make use of the special variables that are replaced then.
I was actually looking for some directive like "QMAKE_PINFO_BUNDLEID" or so, but that seem not to exist. So I will provide my own info.plist then.

Good idea. I've create an improvement bug report "QTBUG-19006":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-19006 - feel free to vote for it, it may help getting this implemented :-)
