    One of the biggest problems I've seen in QT is that I just can't find the correct solution to a problem. And the correct solution often is not upvoted, because almost nobody uses the upvote button.. I suspect it's because it's so tiny on the bottom right corner.

    At https://stackoverflow.com/ the upvote and downvote are big, left top corner right next to the question/answer, and this helps people value this function more, in my opinion.

      Hi,

      Not a bad idea. Something for our CM @Pedro to look at.

        As long as we're at it, maybe a "select as solution" option for threads that get multiple answers?

          @mzimmers the three dotted menu beside the answers have the option to Mark this post as the correct answer.

            @SGaist geez -- I've looked for that before and never found it. Thanks for pointing it out.

              I respectfully disagree - adding bigger buttons is no solution.
              The challenge is to get participants in the post "discussion" to actually HELP FINDING THE SOLUTION.

              It seems that easy to post personal insults take precedence over actually
              working / commenting / helping to find solution

              Alan Cooper "Inmates are running the asylum" comment on way to get involved is to " find the lest painful way (to resolve) the issue " is

              to post "I told you so..."

              PS I wonder where this post will be moved to ...

                @Developer123 We can try this kind of customisation after our pending forum update. It is definitely possible, just fyi.

                @mzimmers Thanks, your comment makes me realise we have a lot of features that are not obvious and a bit too hidden.

                  @mzimmers Yep! Also good idea!
                  @SGaist The option exist, but I didn't know/remember of it.. I think it's a nice addition to make it more visible and compelling to use too, even though usually in these forums, the highest upvoted answer stands out by itself

                    OK, just for the record, I'm not completely crazy -- I don't have the "select as solution" option here.

                      @mzimmers
                      That whole thread is marked as Solved. I would guess you have to remove the overall "solved" before you can pick a single post as the "solution" answer?

                        @mzimmers I confirm the guess of @JonB. If the thread is already marked as solved you have to use the "Topic Tools" button, "Mark as Unsolved" and then you'll be able to select the answer you want.
