Solved Does the Qt library hard drive pool like the thread pool?
-
I have two various hard- drive (ssd and not ssd) and I don't want create RAID array for so many different drives. I fully repeat the necessary files on each hard- drive. How can I use both hard drive for acceleration of read data by my program?

Hi
Only setting them up in raid will affect read performance.
Qt does not offer anything for hard drives in that manner as its purely a Os/driver
thing. -

Hi
Do you have an issue with speed or was it just a general question? -

There is no striking similarity. Perhaps in the raid settings, you will be able to notice them, but they are insignificant. The main thing is to use everything correctly and not overload the RAM with unnecessary actions. Because later, the hard drive may refuse to work. I had such a problem because of my mistake, and I had to contact raid recovery to ensure that my data was lost forever. But the guys were able to restore everything in the shortest possible time, which I am very happy about. Now I'm trying to be more attentive to what I'm doing with my laptop.
