Unsolved Optional Javascript engine in Qt 6.1 / 6.2 - ETA?
-
In Qt Desktop Days it was announced that in Qt 6.1 / 6.2 the QML Javascript Engine will be optional and that the QML will be compiled to C++ code :
Ref.: https://youtu.be/QTNTrTAwChE?t=2343 .
What is the ETA of these? Is there any way to already try these? It would be interesting to see how much improvements this will bring on the memory footprint...

As far as I know, this has been pushed for later with no ETA. So definitely not 6.1, maybe 6.2 or later.

@sierdzio :
Qt 6.2.1 was released. I cannot find this feature. Do you know if it is already available?
In case if not : do you know if there is an updated ETA for this feature?(I could only find a page about fine tuning the Javascript Engine : https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qtqml-javascript-finetuning.html .)

It is not available in 6.2. I don't know what the plans are, sorry. Maybe ask on qt-devel mailing list?
