Solved New and looking for pointers on 3d implementation
-
Hello
I am creating a a python Qt app on windows 10 which should include a rotating 3d model,
and I'm pretty lost tbh.-
Do i need to download PyQt and Qt3D?
are those IDEs? or packages i download to the Qt creator? -
does the end build have everything inside one file ( QtSomething?), or is it a folder with exe file?
Ty

No, those are not IDEs. PyQt is Qt binding for python to use Qt in Python applications. Qt is a C++ framework (not an IDE). You also do not download them in QtCreator which is an IDE. You need to install them for your Python installation (for example using pip).
"does the end build have everything inside one file ( QtSomething?), or is it a folder with exe file?" - since this is Python there is no exe file, but Python scripts plus needed Qt libraries. You could try to use existing Python technologies to pack everything into one executable file.
