Delete a category?
-
Someone please help; I accidentally created a category for the wiki page I created, following someone else's lead who did the same thing...
So there's now both "a category":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Category:QtDevelopment::General::BuildQtForLinux and "a page":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/BuildQtForLinux, and I don't believe I can delete categories...
Perhaps the page should get renamed to something like "LinuxConfigureHints" and get moved into the category?

hi Gordon,
edit the page and add this at the top ..
[[Category:<name of category>]]
-
Then why does it say "Only admins can create, edit and remove categories." on the wiki home?

My first edit on the wiki was to rename a category (inside a page) that accidentally had a colon as first character, and after removing it, the category seemed to disappear. Maybe the content of the category was there, and that is the thing that can be removed by admins only.

edit the page and add this at the top ..[[Category:<name of category>]][/quote]
I have put it into a category; my question is that either the unneeded category should get blown away, or the page should get renamed to go within that category (and I don't know how to rename a page, or whether I even can).
