Solved remove the dependency of ui_ files
-
Hello!
I'm fully hand-coding my program, don't want to use GUI for now at least, is there a way to say Qt don't use them?...
thanks.

Sure. Don't use any of the core GUI classes. Instantiate QApplication and make use of the utility parts of the framework.

Pick console program or remove GUI module from your pro file
(Make sure, there is no GUI stuff left in your code, otherwise it probably wont compile)

@U7Development please be aware that you'll have "dependency of ui_ files" only if you use Qt Designer and create .ui files, which later are transformed into ui_* files
You could have a very beatiful GUI with plenty of Qt widgets and absolutely no ui_ files at all

that's good, what i do is to create a background image with "baked" boxes so the only thing i need later is to just create QLabels and QPushButtons and place them, so finally is not much code at least i need to write to build ui..
