Unsolved QT android app on a dual display
-
Hello,
I'm working on a dual display system on ARM-A15 on Android 8.0 and above, which has one LCD and HDMI connected.
So, I want my whole android display to run on LCD and the applications on the HDMI.
But my QT android app, takes both the display when running.
Is there a way to enable presentation mode for QT app so that it runs only on HDMI? -
Hi,
That's more likely a question for the Android folks.
You should at least add what device you are running on as well as versions of Android.

@SGaist
thnaks for the reply. So I'm running it on a TI board with ARM A15. So my android and so qt app would run on ARM-A15 on Android 8.0 and above.
Though i've no idea but could it be achieved with some config changes in qt Qpa?Also, I found out this way of looking for no. of screens:
QDesktopWidget *widget = QApplication::desktop();
qDebug() << "No.of screens:" << widget->screenCount();it shows only 1 screen, though both lcd and hdmi are connected.

Does the desktop widget geometry cover both screens ?

@SGaist said in QT android app on a dual display:

I checked it with qDebug() << "Geometry of screens:" << widget->screenGeometry();
It gives output as geometry size of one only screen which is primary display.
