Unsolved Remote debugging
-
How can I connect Qt Creator for remote debugging already running process?
-
Hi,
Do you have gdb server running on that target ?
-
Hi, SGaist .Yes, I have (I use QNX as target and it named pdebug on it). But I don't know what I need insert to fields: "Command Line arguments", "Working directory"and "Debug information"? I use "Debug->Start Debugging -> Start and Debug External application". May be I need to use "Attach to running debug server" or "Start Debug server attached to process" instead?

What version of Qt did you install for QNX ?
-
@SGaist Qt-5.9.2
-
Did you already saw the QNX platform notes ?
-
Yes, I saw. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. If I create simple Qt project (based on qmake) then the debugging work fine. But if I create simple application based on cmake (not qmake) and try to connect to target for debugging then it dosn't work. Maybe if I attach a debug log, will it simplify the solution of my problem? Thanks.

Then to debug, I'd build the same sample project with cmake to check the differences.

I install a new Craetor (version 4.5.1) and it has menuitem named "Attach to remote QNX application" but it doesn't work on CMake based project, but on QMake it works fine. Маy be I need to do some additional actions on target qnx device (such as run app under pdebug or any other action)?
