Hello,
Please I am in training and my mission is to provide a development environment similar to QtCreator(just interface:QTreeView, QTextEDIT, QMenuBarr...), I am a beginner in Qt c + + and I looked around websites and I found this magnificent site web. My job is to make an IDE, can create a project file (extension.c) save it to the hard drive, and load it into the QTreeView(project folder with files: 1 file extension c) to manage multiple projects with syntax highlighting c language and the possibility to create multiple tabs in a text editor, a console with multiple tabs that displays the binary output files running .. I did not need a debugger or compiler! please help me .. I'm Verily in embarrassment -
Hi,
What is your question? Yes, what you want is doable with Qt, but we are not going to make it for you. Build it yourself and when you encounter problems we are more then willing to support you! -
my question is how to reload a project. c in QTreeView and open these files in the text editor
(i use the QtDesigner)

To show files in QTreeView you can use "QFileSystemModel":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/QFileSystemModel.html#details
For "example":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/qtwidgets-itemviews-dirview-example.html -
Hello,
Thank you for your reply, I actually already applied the tutorial, but what I want to do is to import one folder (which contains a file. C) in QTreeView (as in conventional IDE when I import a project the whole file is loaded with the sub folder and files which contain) and when I clicked it should load in QTextEdit then i can edit and save it...After tons of research I have not found a tutorial that explains it all! I downloaded the QtCreator source code, but it is very complicated to understand .. plus I have not found the ui files to understand the architecture of the interface! help me please
