Re: [Qt Creator: application output in a separate window](instead of the output pane?)
(Beginner with QT alert} After switching to Apple things a few years ago after years on Windows, and Embarcadero and Borland tools, I have come back to programming again. Finding a suitable IDE with user-GUI tools has been daunting, until I have discover QT, which looks very promising. Apple Swift is just too Apple and IOS focused for me. GNAT GPS is very nice, but I have yet to get GTK attached.
Anyway, I would like to direct my [cout <<] other than to the Qt IDE fixed output pane at bottom of IDE, or separate OS Terminal Window Would be nice to have a from tab with a object that works like a terminal, or a form looking graphic psuedo Terminal, that I can float on the Mac screen.
Seems like this should be a basic capability, or am I wrong?
