Unsolved How can we use Qt Lite?
-
Hi; How can we use Qt Lite? Is it commercial or open source? Thanks.

@Ibrahim Qt libraries can be configured and compiled to have less features than it has by default. In the O.S. version you have to do the configuration manually (with command line flags), in the commercial version you have a GUI (which I haven't seen or used) for doing the selections.

To add to @Eeli-K it is both, commercial and open source. The best is checking through the official web page what is available for your needs. You probably need to check also the different license options.

@koahnig I'm not sure if you read the original question too hastily and aswered to a different question. He asked about Qt Lite, not Qt in general. Lite mean that Qt can be configured in many ways so that it has only the needed features to achive smaller binary size. download.qt.io or licence options have nothing to do with it per se.

@Eeli-K thanks. What are command line flags? There is a documentation about that?

I'm using QT enterprise desktop. There is no 'qt lite configuration tool' in it. GUI configuration tool available only for 'QT device creation'?

Correct, at the moment it is not available with "Qt for Application Development", although I personally see no good reason for that. I believe, it should be available in every product, and I think eventually it will be.
