Solved Qt webenginewidgets not working on Mac
-
I'm trying to build a cross-platform program that uses the web engine. To do so, I included the module
webenginewidgets
by writingQT += webenginewidgets
in the pro file. This works fine on Windows, but on Mac I get an error sayingProject ERROR: Unknown module(s) in QT: webenginewidgets
. How can I get webenginewidgets to work on Mac? -
I found the problem. I had to install the webengine module with the Maintenance Tools.

Hi,
Which version of Qt are you using exactly ? On which version of macOS ?
-
@SGaist I'm using Qt 5.8.0 with Clang 7.0 and Qt Creator 4.2.2 on Mac 10.11.6. The Mac is a virtual machine in case it's important.
