How your camera detected on system? As removable drive?
If yes you can browse it with "QFileSystemModel":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/QFileSystemModel.html .
And probably "this":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/widgets-imageviewer.html example might help too. -
By the way
Welcome to DevNet :) -
Thanks qxsoz for your help
yes it's reconized as removable device not like an usb storage.
i will try with QFileSystemModel...
thanks -
Hi Qxoz
I taked a look to image viewer example and it's not able to load picture from the camera I think the path returned by the native file dialog window is invalid for Qt.QFileSystemModel is unable to see the camera when i set the root path on my computer :(
the path in explorer to files is
"Ordinateur\Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL\CF\DCIM\930CANON"
Ordinateur is Computer.if any one have an idea..
thanks -
Hi,
If you set it literally like “Ordinateur\Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL\CF\DCIM\930CANON" then if won't work because you didn't escape the .
But since you are using Qt, just use the unix notation i.e. /

Hi SGaist
thanks for your response
but it's just the path that i copied from explorer to show it to Qxoz
in QT i escaped it and tried the unix notation without results.
and as i say the image viewer example can't resolve this path too. -
Then It's one of these "short cut" path from Windows. You should rather give the full path starting at the root directory i.e. C:/path/to/Canone EOS...
