Unsolved Subproject build on Windows fails
-
I have a Qt project that consists of some subprojects. Each of these subprojects compiles perfectly when building them separately. However, when I try to build the top-level project, Qt comes with the following error:
:-1: error: [sub-core-qmake_all] Error 1
I have no clue why this happens. On another Windows machine and on MacOS and Linux all is fine. The machine that gives an error is a freshly installed one with Windows 7, Qt5.8.0 and Qt Creator 4.2.2 using MinGW 5.3.0. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Did you rerun qmake?
Otherwise mostly something different and not identical to other installations. You need to disclose more of the error output possibly otherthings.
Crystal ball reading is typically not very helpful. -
Hi,
Can you show your top-level .pro file ?
-
The top-level .pro file looks as follows:
TEMPLATE = subdirs SUBDIRS += \ core \ sdf3 \ gui
-
Does your project require a specific build order ?
