Unsolved Qt Composer crash under MacOS 10.12.4
-
I'm new to Qt, and after installing I'm running Qt Creator, only to have it crash repeatedly under MacOS 10.12.4
It looks like the crash happens as Qt tries to phone home. Is this a known issue? Is there a work-around?

Hi and welcome to devnet,
Which version of Qt did you install exactly ?
-
The crash happens with a fresh install of Qt 5.8
-
Can you do try something ? Disable all network devices on your machine and try to start Qt Creator.

@SGaist
Turning off my wifi connection got the Qt Creator started (although I obviously had to cancel out of the authentication dialog).I'd rather not turn off my internet connection every time I use Qt Creator. Is there a fix for this issue?
-
AFAIK, Qt Creator 4.3RC1 doesn't suffer from this.
