Solved Qt Creator debugger hangs
-
I'm starting to code with Qt Creator but I'm having problems using the debugger because it hangs :(
I can start the debugger an break to the main function. My main function is :#include "mainwindow.h" #include <QApplication> int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { QApplication a(argc, argv); MainWindow w; w.show(); return a.exec(); }
When i start debugging it runs to the first line and i can choose step over, but on the line MainWindow w it hangs and in the debugger log apears:
s[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] >~"Using host libthread_db library \"/lib64/libthread_db.so.1\".\n" NON-CRITICAL TIMEOUT COMMANDS STILL IN PROGRESS:
It seams a gdb timeout, but I have no idea what is going wrong, so any help will be appreciate.
I'm using Slackware Linux 64 bits and Qt creator 4.1.0.Thanks.

Unchecking the option "Load .gdbinit on startup" on Tools->options->Debugger->GDB solved the problem.
Thank you.
