Solved QPrinter for Android.
-
Hi.
I am learning how to use QT Creator on my own to make Android applications.
I am trying to verify the operation of the example called fontsampler to print, but I have found that printer management is disabled for android.
qtHaveModule(printsupport): QT += printsupport
#if! Defined (QT_NO_PRINTER) &&! Defined (QT_NO_PRINTDIALOG)
Researching the internet I found the following:
FYI: I got a response from Bogdan, and he said that basically it was just
disabled to get it to compile in hurrying to get Android support working
in Qt5.2. However, he did say that with Android 4.4 (KitKat) having proper
print support, he's hoping to have print support in Qt5.3/Android...The Qt Creator is:
Qt Creator 4.1.1
Based on Qt 5.8.0 (MSVC 2013, 32 bit)My questions are:
Is there any way to use QPrinter on Android?
Should I wait for Qt someday to manage an Android printer?
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.
Thanks.

Hi and welcome to devnet,
That's a question you should rather bring to the Qt Android development mailing list. You'll find there Qt's Android port developers/maintainers. This forum is more user oriented.

Hi.
Thanks for answering.
My question was poorly explained.
What happens is that I want to work a bluetooth printer and it has nothing to do with QPrinter.
I found information here:
