[no longer relevant]Mapping coordinates with QTransform
-
UPDATED: An answer is no longer needed. Didn't find the solution, but the case for the problem has perished. If anyone wants to answer, feel free to do so, but keep in mind that I no longer need the answer. Thank you.
I need to do the following:
- Create a QImage
- Mark a coordinate set x,y in the QImage and call it x1 and y1
- Rotate the QImage using a QTransform
- Find the transformed x1 and y2 in the rotated image and call the new coordinates x1new and y1new.
I've been looking at QTransform map, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what it actually does, and when I use it, it certainly doesn't seem to find the same spot in the image. Can anyone explain to me what I need to do? Do I need to define the m values for it to work? In my mind I'm thinking that the QTransform doesn't know about my QImage's dimensions, which would be a problem, right?
