Unsolved anti-aliasing on iOS
-
Hi,
To see if something has changed, try the Qt 5.6.0 beta
-
@SGaist
I've tried but with 5.6.0 beta, my application crashes in the QApplication constructor and I really can't figure out what I can do to solve the problem. -
The bug report https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-35271 states that it is unsolved, but the link on the last comment https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/143848/ gives a lot of hope that the fix will "soon" appear on a release (as is known, "your mileage may vary" in the case of Qt bug fixes).
-
That patch has been integrated so it should be in the 5.6 release
-
Thanks for the information. I'll wait for the 5.6 release. My attempts to force the GLFormat to multisample have been vain. It gave me the feeling that Qt is overriding the GL settings.
-
How are you setting up your GLFormat ?
-
@SGaist
I used QGLFormat::setSampleBuffers(true)
ignoring other attributes that are supposed to take default values,
and next, I used the static QGLFormat::setDefaultFormat called at application initialization. -
Are you using the new QOpenGL*** classes ?
-
@SGaist
I've also tried using the QOpenGLFunctions class but without more success.
My last attempts were only based on QGLFormat. -
Sorry, I meant QOpenGLWidget and friends
